Chronology of cameras Kodak
The German subsidiary of Kodak, previously Nagel, has produced several models of Junior 620 from 1933 to 1939. They are called 620 and not Six-20, the 6 not being pronounced six in German, but Sechs.
The first models in the series have side struts rather slender; it was not until 1937 that they take the form of those of the model presented here. This change is accompanied by the appearance on the body of a button for opening the bed of the camera and a change of side for the location of the folding viewfinder.
It is only from this "new" generation that appears a model with chrome sides, together with the models with wrapped sides.
These models are available with different combinations of lens and shutters. The model on this page has a lens with a 7.7 aperture and a Kodak K3 or K4S shutter manufactured by Gauthier.
